June 25, 200520 yr San Francisco was a total clusterf***. If you check any baggage, prepare to wait forever for it. O'Hare was fun -- easy to get to my gate. And this is an aside, being in airports in general. Waiting in line seeing people have to take out their ID -- people will wait until right til they get up to the TSA/security person to pull out their license. These are the same people with a month's worth of laundry change in their pockets wondering how they set off the metal detector. When I was flying home from San Francisco back to O'Hare, I swear there were some of the dumbest people I've ever met in line in front of me. I had 40 minutes to get on my plane -- I got there with about 5 minutes to spare before they stopped boarding. It took forever because people couldn't figure out that metal detectors detect metal and that when a TSA official asks you to take off your shoes, you're supposed to take off your shoes.
June 25, 200520 yr People crack me up. "you mean, we're supposed to take off our shoes"? "yes maam" "oh my god, I CAN'T do that. my feet will get dirty!" I've heard that at an airport. Bunch of stupid asses.
June 26, 200520 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Jun 24, 2005 -> 01:00 PM) You liked Detroits airport Soxy? By the time I got out of there I was ready to blow that place up... Damn I don't know if I have a favorite... MDW was easy to get in and out of, but supposedly has gotten bad. DFW I did like, but it was freakin huge. ORD is a disaster. Midway has gotten better in the past few months I think. The parking is 100% better that's for sure. And when the new terminal opens on the west side of Cicero it's going to be even easier in terms of drop off & pick ups. I liked John Wayne a lot. Small and easy. Get off the plane, walk outside. I also like Baltimore and Orlando. I have to say Cancun sucked as bad as Detroit and Seattle. People were very unwilling to answer questions in all 3 places.
June 26, 200520 yr Manchester airport in New Hampshire. You can be in or out of that place in 5 minutes. Plus, there's no tax on the magazines, gum, etc.
