Personaly I prefere the previous one, it's more subtle.

I guess screen brightness must be critical. It works for me.

I like the first one better too. A thief doesn't work with brightness. He's in the dark.

Both versions are very good, but for me it is hard to see Scotty in the first one. It's too dark. The second one is better only because I can see it with out squinting/leaning towards the screen.
