April 30, 200322 yr Another good reason for Harris coming to the big leagues is his solid Defense. He hasn't commited an error in 16 games at 2nd base and none in 5 games in Center. He could also play some 2nd base of course with Jimenez hitting so poorly.

Its hard to say what he's doing, but I don't think people can accuse him of not changing his approach if no one is watching him play. The 21 singles are definately a good sign though.

April 30, 200322 yr Pretty soon, if Rowand doesn't get it together, there is going to have to be a decision made on either Harris or Borchard. I like Willie because as has been stated he is versatile. Borchard may end up replacing CLEE. Any other possibilities?
May 1, 200322 yr I've been a big backer of Rowand in the past. Right now though....he is not hitting anything. He is playing very s***ty right now...so why have him up? Bring up Harris....bring up Borchard..hell, bring up f***ing that Yofu guy to play CF....all of them would probably be better than Rowand in CF right now.
May 1, 200322 yr Something definitely has to be done. Send Rowand down seems to be the most logical choice at this time. Let him find his stroke in Charlotte. Willie Harris may turn into the sparkplug this team needs.
