Charlotte lost 4-3 to Syracuse. B-Mac went 6 IP, gave up 1 ER and had 8 K's. Baj lost the game giving up 1 ER. Borch had 2 homers going 3 for 4, now up to .260.

B-Ham won 6-4 over Huntsville. Haegar gave up 4ER in 6IP, with 1BB and 1K. Meaux picked up the win pitching 3 scoreless innings of relief. Fields homered for his 13th of the year, 2 hits for Owens, Lopez, Gray and Gonzalez.

Kanny lost 7-4 to Charleston. Torres picked up the loss giving up 3ER in 3.1 IP. Thomas Brice sighting, giving up a hit and 1 walk without retiring anyone.

Getz 1 for 3 with 2 walks. De Los Santos with 3 hits.

Bristol lost 9-4 to Greeneville. Cunningham was 2 for 4, now up to .325. Derek Rodriguez picked up the loss giving up 5ER in 5.1IP.

Barons 6 Huntsville 4

 

W- Meaux L- Stamler

 

A well played ballgame the Barons never give up out there down 4-0 the Barons didn't panic in the 5th back to back singles by Owens, Gonzo and a 3-0 pitch to Fields that he absolutly crushed to LF for a 3 run shot. Next inning with 2nd 3rd 2 outs Owens hit a little chopper and he hustled all the way to 1st and beat the throw to tie the game. In the 8th with 2nd 3rd 2 outs Andy Gonzalez drove a 2 run single to left center. Ryan Meaux out of the pen was lights out, Haeger outside of the 4th was outstanding. Owens, Gonzo, Lopez, Gray, Fields all had 2 hits. Josh also made some outstanding plays at the hot corner long throws great stabs all round great game for Josh.

How is Gonzalez finger? I saw he was good enough to bat (and get a clutch hit!!!), but how far away is he from being able to play the infield?
