Meaux picked up the win pitching 3 scoreless innings of relief. BHAMBARONS Posted July 23, 2005 Share Posted July 23, 2005 Barons 6 Huntsville 4 W- Meaux L- Stamler A well played ballgame the Barons never give up out there down 4-0 the Barons didn't panic in the 5th back to back singles by Owens, Gonzo and a 3-0 pitch to Fields that he absolutly crushed to LF for a 3 run shot. Next inning with 2nd 3rd 2 outs Owens hit a little chopper and he hustled all the way to 1st and beat the throw to tie the game. In the 8th with 2nd 3rd 2 outs Andy Gonzalez drove a 2 run single to left center. Ryan Meaux out of the pen was lights out, Haeger outside of the 4th was outstanding. Owens, Gonzo, Lopez, Gray, Fields all had 2 hits. Josh also made some outstanding plays at the hot corner long throws great stabs all round great game for Josh.
