July 23, 200520 yr after last night, the whole south side it seemed, except for a few enlightened ones (myself included) were prepared to call this season over, and kill themselves. Shocking how one win can change all that.
July 23, 200520 yr I was thinking about taking a little break from Soxtalk after the loss last night. Things just get too depressing on here when the Sox lose. If they go out and get shelled tomorrow I think I might just take that vacation but otherwise I'll sticking around.

I remember reading someone wanted A.J., Konerko and someone else (I believe Uribe but not sure) shipped out, if that wasn't the most reactionary thing I've ever heard. They want A.J. who is quite possibly the MVP of this team traded because he's hitting 40-50 points below his career average. That's just a f***ing stupid comment. If we lose tomorrow I'm afraid we'll have a repeat. It's really sad.

July 23, 200520 yr I agree. I quite new here on Soxtalk and when I was reading everything people were saying after last night's game, I was wondering where the heck all the fans were. I'm thinking of staying away when we lose too. But it's good to see everyone happy when we win!

July 23, 200520 yr People need to realize mostly every team loses at least 60 games. Anyone who think we should get rid of AJ after last night game sounds like a person who doesnt know about baseball.. I can see being upset after last night loss but its going to happen its a f***in long season.

July 23, 200520 yr The hell of it is, once they start b****ing and moaning, they all just feed off of each other. There are some that are analytically negative. That is, they have some logic behind there posts, and that's cool. But other just rant for the sake of ranting, and maybe to up their post count, but there is no substance behind their boarishness. Basically, it's just lame.
July 23, 200520 yr Avoiding ESPN and suicidal Soxtalk threads after losses is pretty standard for me. I'm all about the fun and the humor of this place, but some of you get downright depressing sometimes.
