Bat = Overbay? Hell Yeah.

I'm still 50-50 on this. If we could do BMac/Marte for Burnett, have him extend, then do Ando/Tracy for Overbay......whooooooooot!

2) don't need to overpay for a 3 month starter that's not that much better than any of our guys to begin with.

Hmm, put me on this as long as it's not a cheap bat. Griffey, Overbay, Soriano I'm down with. I want middle of the order. And someone who's not constantly pulling.

overbay or griffey are the 2 i had on my mind when creating this.

We need some fear in the heart of this order, right now we have none.

Id love to see Overbay or Huff put one of these on:

 

If the sox don't get Burnett, I'd like to see them get a bat like Overbay, a UTL IFer [vizquel is the ideal so Uribe can be the UTL guy but that's not happening], and a bullpen arm like Erye or Villone.

 

No way can the sox get Burnett and all these other peices. So, you could count me in

I'd like a bat or a bullpen arm before a starting pitcher. That being said depending on what we'd be giving up, I'm in no way opposed to dealing for Burnett and as everybody knows I love the idea of Schmidt.

My dream trade would be Sweeney and Tracey for Overbay. Though I do know that is unlikely I would be beyond happy if we could pull it off.

Here's my point. I think most of us would agree this year's bats in the 2nd half have more potential than last yr's. Do you really believe that the CWS will finish .251/.717 vs RHers before the season is done?
