July 29, 200520 yr I know the Bandits have played lots of games against other countries Olympic teams, maybe those are included?
July 29, 200520 yr They have games against non-league teams (i.e. Aussie National Team etc.) and I guess they count those in their records. That's the only thing I can think of.
July 29, 200520 yr Author That's screwy. I see that now. There's also some American teams on the schedule that aren't in the league. You think maybe those have since folded?

July 29, 200520 yr My question: was I wrong in hearing the the Bandits catcher is still in High School???
July 29, 200520 yr Heck...why is this in SL&P and NOT in the Sports Pub??? Is it not a sport because it has "chix" in it?
July 29, 200520 yr Yep, many of their games are against international teams and others are against American teams who are not officially part of the league. I know there is one opponent who isn't part of the league and plays a partial season but will play a full time schedule and join the league next year. I think if you go to the home page of the league itself there is a place that describes how that works (that's how I found out anyway). And I must add, Jennie Finch pitches for the Chicago Bandits! July 29, 200520 yr HEY PEOPLE!!! I ASKED A QUESTION!!! Sorry...a little antsy for the 4:00 school bell to ring. Though it does scare me as there is some 6th grade kid who likes to pick on me on the bus. But still, cookies await at home. how sad am I? I have to edit my silly pointless post to actually make sense. Edited July 29, 200520 yr by Kid Gleason
July 29, 200520 yr They appear on CSN once & a while. I saw them play the Aussies. I'd imagine it's the closest thing to a world league we have. It's sad the IOC gave softball/baseball the boot.
