The left-handed pitcher dominated low-A Kannapolis. In 20 starts, 115.1 IP, he led the SAL in ERA at 2.26. He posted an 8-3 record with 107 strikeouts to only 35 walks and 108 hits. Liotta has shown great success since joining the system. He won the ERA crown in the Pioneer League last year. This year he has continued the success and is definitely a prospect on the rise. Liotta and the rest of the ‘Hogs will face Potomac with a 6:05 start time. Ryan Wing was scheduled to start, but will likely be moved to the pen as he has shown little success since the Sox claimed him off waivers from Texas. more...
