To grab Jose's knee? :o

Maybe KW will overpay for a starter now that Contreras both sucks and is hurt.

I dont think it looks too serious.

Nice to see Uribe is still in the groove though. I am not sure we ever have done much against Julio even with his 4 ERA

Terrible inning. Where's Bruce Chen when we need him? Pods looks like he's lost his focus at the plate the last few games. He'll get a day off on Monday I'm sure.

No, I wanted him to die.

Contreras has now given up 6 or more runs in 4 of his last 9 starts. That's awful.

That was after not allowing 6 runs in a start during his first 12 starts this season. Not exactly a promising trend for the rest of the season.

But I bet he's shut down a team in one of those starts. He's great.

Cotts locks em down as usual.

Cotts is stellar.

I saw the Count of Monte Cristo pitch at Colorado and he WAS great there winning 2-1, but the last month has not been promising of things to come

Yes he is. Ozzie needs to trust him to start innings (in tight spots). He isn't a situational lefty. He has the stuff to be able to pitch over a leadoff walk, etc.

I think he was ready to step in and take over Marte's role if Marte had been traded.

Lead off man aboard...

Great AB - Great start Tadahito

Another observation: If I was pitching against the Sox, I'd throw a ton of offspeed pitches on 3-2. Seems like you can fool them a lot doing that.

:puke Carl

Everett pops it up :(

Edited by SoxFanForever

Please Kenny get a bat that can DH and hit 3rd

Besides that homer last night, Everett is struggling. Doesn't sound like we're going to add anything to help in that 3 hole.

We are just waiting for a 2 run blast here
