August 2, 200520 yr QUOTE(White Sox Josh @ Aug 2, 2005 -> 02:10 PM) Polanco I guess it's a good move. He is a good player. He's much better than Orlando Cabrera.
August 2, 200520 yr QUOTE(YASNY @ Aug 2, 2005 -> 07:12 PM) He's much better than Orlando Cabrera. No he's not. What the heck are you talking about, Yas, Orlando is worth every penny of that four year, $32 million dollar contract. Edited August 2, 200520 yr by CWSGuy406

August 2, 200520 yr I wonder what he got. He seemed to be one of the most underappreciated guys in baseball. Philly made the right move offering him arbitration, with Utley clearly ready to take over. But they dropped the ball by still claiming that David Bell was their everyday 3B.

Shortstop A: .249 AVG--4 HR--28 RBI--34 R Shortstop B: .246 AVG--9 HR--51 RBI--35 R Guess which one makes 2.15M and which one makes 6M.
August 2, 200520 yr QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Aug 2, 2005 -> 02:52 PM) I wonder what he got. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Considering the Detroit factor, I'm guessing 4 years $70 million.
August 2, 200520 yr Polanco's just a good player. Kind of disappointed he'll be in our division for a while.
August 2, 200520 yr $18.4M -- I'd pay him 5M for the next couple of seasons, but he's going to be in his decline phase fairly soon.
