It's only a matter of time...

Whats going on?

If you really have that record at Sox games, you better be at every game in October.

I think I missed something here.

no one missed anything. Just a thread anticipating a Ichiro/Iguchi connection story.

There were already talking about it this morning on the radio. Comparing the adjustment and the ability to adjust to the strike zone and hit to all fields.

This is one of the worst threads I've ever seen

Should this even qualify as a thread? Nothing was said here. Nothing at all.

When the 10+ Iguchi/Ichiro stories are out, you'll be happy this thread is here.

Go ahead, put them all here.

pre-emptive merged thread???

I do know that Shingo and Ichiro were friends.

Are you sure?

If I remember correctly, Shingo said although they played in Japan, they played at different times or something to that end. I remember it being a pretty big deal when they met last year because I thought it was a first.

no because i believe that when Shingo first came over here he talked about having dinner with Ichiro and when they played the mariners earlier this year their were some articles about how Shingo and Ichiro knew each other and were friends.
PHOENIX -- Shingo Takatsu made the trip to Phoenix one night prior to Wednesday's game against Oakland in order to dine with Ichiro Suzuki and Shigetoshi Hasegawa -- the Seattle Mariners standouts who have successfully made the transition from Japanese baseball to Major League Baseball.

Alrighty.

Well, something I am certain of is they never faced each other in Japan. There was a big to-do about them never facing each other.

I believe shingo and tadahito played in different leagues in japan (similar to our AL/NL) and that's why they never faced each other.
