Did we seriously strand a man on 3rd with no outs?

Do you think that isn't possible?? Yes we did.

Why, for showing more heart than anyone on the Sox besides Ozuna?

No, for being a f***ing show off!!

Wow, I wonder how other teams feel about Timo then? :P

Anderson is due and Moyer is almost at 80 pitches.

:gosox1:

We will unfortunately have little FA money this year unless JR really bumps up payroll. So we will probably see Uribe and Crede

Our defense hasn't been stellar today, but it seemed to me that the Mariners were making really solid contact off of Freddie. Hittin' some balls hard. It appeared that Freddie wasn't locating his curve, allowing them to sit on his fastball. What do you guys think?

I agree, he is hanging some and it seems that they are sitting on some of his pitches.

Anderson's game on friday sure seems like a distant memory now.

Even though Anderson hasn't had a hit in his last few ABs, he still looks a lot better at the plate than he initially did. For anyone that has seen him before, does he have any power to the opposite field? He seems like a dead-pull hitter.

Don't be surprised if we use guys like Contreras and Marte as chips to get a 1b and a 3b.

Of 3b and SS with enough at bats to qualify for a league batting title, Crede and Uribe have the lowest OBP.

Iguchi could use some rest

Fine with me. Someone has to go to bring new blood in.

And a confidence booster. Besides for the clutch homer, he's really been slumping. Just be thankful he came through in that big spot.

Carl batting lefty?

Yeah I'm surprised he's been in the lineup 3 days in a row :P

Yeah, he could use a day off.

Ozuna should be used as the back-up at 2nd base, and not at 3rd base if we want to rest Iguchi.

Carl is so homer or nothing lately it's sick.

He's had plenty of days off. Hopefully he'll prove us wrong, but he looks like he might have hit the wall.

Adkins time please.

It's interesting that Carl is batting left-handed against Moyer.

Good approach by Everett today!!
