BTW, try to rent "The Public Eye". It's one of his best performances and damn fine movie!

I've heard the lack of work is due to his being a complete ass to work with.

What a coincidence, over the weekend one of his movies that I had not seen In a looooong time was on. He was an out of work actor in hollywood and after his car stereo is stolen him and his buddy (river phoenix?) decide to go out and catch criminals using a video camera. They have this whole production about Pesci being the leader of a vigilante group the s.o.s. and his code name is jerhico.

 

i cant believe i watched it but i was bored and it was pretty bad good, if ya know what i mean.

well....it's a surprise he's been without work for so long....considering his HUGE range as an actor. I mean after seeing Goodfellas and Casino back to back....i couldn't believe it was the same guy.

Haha, its not everyday that you see a reference from the great flick "Jimmy Hollywood"!! His buddy was Christian Slater BTW, which could start a whole other thread of bad movie choices.

Haven't heard the reason that he's difficult to work with, I heard he retired for awhile to raise his kids... but that could be his people spinning it if he was having trouble getting roles
