September 7, 200520 yr I suspect the Cardinals game will be in the premium pack like the Yanks and Red Sox since the Cards will draw a big crowd. I must say that I am disappointed that the sox won't be playing the Brewers. I try to go to a Brewers game each year and I love the park even if their team stinks. Would have loved to have seen the Sox going to Miller again. Can't we get the Brewers as a Rival and play them every year like the Cubs. They are only 90 miles away.
September 7, 200520 yr Wow...opening at home again...2 years in a row...I was starting to think I'd never see the first time. Anyone else wondering whether sometime between June 20 to 25, we'll be seeing a world series rematch?

September 7, 200520 yr Author I am too disappointed they are not playing the Brewers. I went to one of the exhibitions this year at Miller Park. It's a great park and an easy drive. In any event, this means they'll be going to the new ballparks in Cincy and Pittsburgh. I better start making my plans for next summer. I'd love to see PNC.

Hope we play the Brew crew next year. My wife and I went there for the exhibition game also and I found Miller park a very nice place to watch baseball. You feel you are so close to the field and players wherever you sit.
September 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 04:28 PM) Where are the road games??? How do you know they are not in Milwaukee? We play the Pirates and Reds on the road.
September 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 01:36 PM) We play the Pirates and Reds on the road. How do you know?
September 7, 200520 yr QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Sep 7, 2005 -> 04:36 PM) We play the Pirates and Reds on the road. Where's that at? Is that on the Reds/Pirates home schedules?
September 7, 200520 yr Author I should have rephrased my earlier statement. Right now, I have no idea if they do or don't play Milwaukee. I'll have to keep an eye out for their tentative schedules as well.
September 7, 200520 yr The White Sox hosted the Red Sox in late August, early September, for something obscurd like 6 consecutive years. Why the sudden change this year and next?
September 7, 200520 yr We play the Pirates and Reds on the road. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If you read this on WSI, in the thread I posted the schedule, it's total speculation. As far as I know, the road portion hasn't come out yet, nor have the 2006 home schedules of the Pirates, Reds, or Brewers. Do you know something we don't know?
September 8, 200520 yr We deserve to have a home opener, he hadn't had one forever until this year it seems.

This schedule was mentioned here on Soxtalk 2 or 3 days ago, and it mentioned that we play the Reds and Pirates, but not the Brewers. I am too lazy to hunt for it, but any that wants to, feel free.

Any schedule at this time is specualtion and largely subject to change. My sources may be the same ones that posted on :puke WSI . I suppose all hope of a road trip to Milwaukee is not gone.

Would be nice to see them play the Brewers in Milwaukee. Any of the three locations would be great for a road trip - they'll definitely play in 2 of the 3.
