Tickets for potential Division Series games at U.S. Cellular Field go on sale Thursday, September 15

CHICAGO -- Individual-game tickets to each of three potential American League Central Division Series games that could be played by the 2005 Chicago White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field will go on sale Thursday, September 15, at noon.

Tickets will be available only through TicketMaster - by phone at 866-SOX GAME and (312) 559-1212 and online at whitesox.com. Tickets will not be sold at ticket outlets or at the U.S. Cellular Field Box Office.

Ticket prices for the three potential Division Series games at U.S. Cellular Field are: Lower Deck Box $55; Lower Deck Reserved/Bleachers/Upper Deck Box $40; and Upper Deck Reserved $30.

A limit of four tickets per person per game will be instituted on all sales.

The Division Series is scheduled to begin Tuesday, October 4.

Information on individual-game ticket sales for potential American League Championship and World Series games will be announced at a future date.

Bah. There's going to be a huge rush on both the phone and the internet. I disapprove.

:( there goes the campout

my dorm's computer lab will be taken over for this.

This is great news...

Lunchtime in the office. Just hoping to score any ticket to Game 1. Should we have a distribution if anybody is able to buy extra tickets? You're only able to buy 4 but I know I'll only need 2. Maybe we could set up a ticket exchange forum for the playoffs. Just an idea.

i'm sure that will be done to an extent.

It all depends on who gets the tickets and such.

We'll be working our asses off in my dorm computer lab to try and get some.

I'm psyched. Finally, the playoff light is at the end of the tunnel.

do we know dates for sure? unfortunately, having a job that I start monday, I'll only be able to possibly make weekend games.

Don't forget if you get shutout of tickets on the day of, check back a day before or the day of. They usually release tickets. I've had success with all types of events doing this.

Hey guys I have a question, the tickets you buy can be used at any game or do you have to buy game one, game two or what??

I need some flexibility with school and work.

It's going to be specified. Think about that. They can't just have people showing up whenever they feel like it.

Good news for me. I have a concert the night before that will keep me out very late. There would have been no way for me to line up that morning.

90megs to the internet at work might be useful.
