May 13, 200322 yr ....are making the Southside bats look like whiffle bats. I watch when Prior pitches only, being a huge fan since I seen the kid pitch at USC. 9 runs through 4 innings with SCRUBS in the lineup such as Karros, Grudzelanek, Ramon Martinez.... UN-FREAKIN-REAL!!!

May 13, 200322 yr Thats what kills me Ugly. I could care less if the Cubs are winning; I have been watching the Cubs since I was a kid along with the Sox. The thing is, I never expected them to be amongst the top in the NL in runs scored and when you compare their offense to the Sox their is no way they should be doing better offensively. I understand a team overachieving, but usually those numbers even out and right now the Cubs are just impressing me at the plate. I tell you one thing, I hate the way Baker manages the pitchers, but he always gets the best out of his players.
May 13, 200322 yr I know this is heresy coming from the oldest Sox fan on this board, but let's face it, this year, so far, the Scrubs are better than the Sox at every position. Maybe third base is a wash, only because Crede hasn't done much at all, and second base is about a wash, but every other position is all Scrubs, including pitching. I think I'm going to throw up.
