downstairs
Good 10/12 dropped third strike images... http://www.vnvo.com/specials/sox_angels_10-12-
Rowand44
Great images there, that's the best view you're going to get and it's still impossible to tell if it hit the ground or not. It obviously changes direction and the way Paul's glove is pressed down on the ground I'd almost think it would have to hit the ground to take that bounce. That being said you still can't really tell either way and we'll probably never know if that really hit the ground or not.
SouthSidePride05
Nice website! I wonder how long everyone will be talking about this? I'm hoping this "controversy" is forgotten about when we win this series! Think about this: no one would be talking about this if AJ hadn't swung at such a low ball IN THE DIRT! But then again, the pitcher would've had a different mindset and might have gotten Crede out. Glad everything went down the way it did! LVSoxFan
LOL! My favorite saying making the rounds is this is the "Zapruder Film" of baseball...

But then again, the pitcher would've had a different mindset and might have gotten Crede out. Glad everything went down the way it did! One way to make this story go away is to pound out two good, decisive victories in Anaheim. If the games remain close nail biters, people will not let it go. I'm done with it, bring on game 3. The Critic
From that sequence, it does appear that the ball is higher in the glove than just before the catch. I dunno, it was so close. The only thing I don't like is how some people are making it sound like that play alone cost the Angels the game. That is simply not true, and never will be true. Heads22
It looks like on image three like the baseball might actually just be a light spot on the glove.
