haha absolutley. See you all on Tuesday after Baylor. I am really looking forward to IU v. UI, this is the make or break game for da hoosiers.

Not sure how this is a make or break, being that nobody wins on the road in this conference. I don't think anyone would expect us to win this, and I don't. However, we could definitely look better than we have recently, now that we have closure to Davis' situation.

We'll see. I won't be around here for the game; IU's allowing us to watch the game in our AH on the new scoreboard. And I don't think many will be there, with where our season is now. I don't have a problem with that though, it'll be nice.

I'll agree with Jimbo that this is make or break but only in the sense of how they play, not whether they win. If they come out, play reasonably well, put forth a good effort and are competitive, there will be hope for the remaining games. If they come out and lay an egg and lose by 37 points, then there is no hope.

So I don't believe it is a must win game, but I do think how they react and play on the court is very important if there is any hope of finding a way into the NCAA Tournament.

Was it Seth Davis who said IU is a nogo for the tourney. What does he know anyway??

IU IS a no go for the Tourney if they keep playing as they have been. That's not going out on too big of a limb. But Penn State is winnable, as is Purdue. If they can find a way to beat Michigan State at home or Michigan on the road and win two games in the Big Ten Tournament, then they're in, period.

It's a tall order based on the recent turn of events and how they are playing, but the talent is there to do that much, if they would relax and pull their heads out of their collective asses.

If you guys win this it will be a sad, sad day for our program. I mean really, there's NO reason we shouldn't come out and stomp you guys. You just had this whole Mike Davis thing, don't have a ton to play for (as far as winning the conference), and we have been struggling as of late - at home no less - and should want to make a statement. If we don't look very impressive and win by at least 10 then i'll be disappointed. I'll be interested to see how IU plays though. I would expect a sort of roll-over, but you just never know. I guess the line is 11 pts at this point and i wouldn't touch it if i were betting.

The key is, you just never know how 19-20 year olds will react. Obviously their emotions are running high, thinking their coach got a raw deal. You never know whether they will come out and roll over at the first Illini run or if they will come out hot, stick around for awhile, gain some confidence and forget all about everything and just play.

I'm not expecting a win by any means, but it would be nice to stay competitive.

Krush, I doubt you are old enough to remember the day when Knight got pissed at his upperclassmen and decided to send 5 freshmen on the floor to get slaughtered against Illinios. IU had no chance that day. Unfortunately, I have the same kind of feeling today.

Yup, i've been saying that all week, i agree. You never know how IU will come out. That being said, i know how we SHOULD come out. I'm sick of this team's crap already. Play a solid 40 minutes of basketball, especially at home. It's Paint The Hall Orange night today, which is hailed all year as the biggest home game of the year. It's the most hyped up, etc. So the crowd should be pretty solid, and i'm sure we want to avenge our loss in Bloomington.

And no, i don't remember the knight sending 5 freshman out there. That's a knight thing to do though, isn't it? Brutal.

We'll see what happens.

Nova beats gtown by 10.

THis is an inexcusable whipping.

There's nothing else to say.

My goodness, that dunk will get Randle (and Killingsworth) on every tv show in America this evening. Wow.

Texas got stomped. And I think it's safe to say that Indiana is done.

Palehose, can you give me a scouting report on Tyler Hansbrough? I must say I didn't pay much attention to this guy until the 40 point explosion last week. He looks like howdy doody, but he's got game.

I can give you one that is pretty short. In terms of pure fundementals, he's the best big man I've seen in the NCAA since Antawn Jamison. Oh, and these Indiana guys need to quit getting dunked on, it's getting pretty ridiculous.

LOL. It's kinda funny now. The Hoosiers have quit. It's kinda sad.

Dee Brown is the streakiest god damn shooter I've ever seen. Indiana within 12 now.

Illini win 70-58. At 13-10 and 5-7, Indiana still has work to do to make the dance IMO, although their schedule isn't too difficult considering how bad it could be.

Pretty solid win. Now if Auggy can start playing like this consistently, will be dangerous.

Off topic: Reddick already has 11 points with 15:26 to go in the first half. Yeah, I'm sure he pays no attention to Morrison. The scoring title means nothing to him.

Pretty solid game all around. Big game by Augie, nice games by Randle and Carter. Did we have enough highlight dunks for everyone? Randle over Marco = pwn3d. Wow.

The three point shooting on both sides was atrocius. Good call by IU playing a zone. Jamar Smith, whatever the hell he did, hurt us this game. At any given time we only had 1 or 2 guys who could shoot from outside in the game, and the ball was around the perimter a ton. We really could have used him to take some shots against that zone.

IU put up a fight, but they didn't hit shots when they needed to in order to cut the gap.

Also, the officiating in the 2nd half was pretty suspect, but at least it didn't affect the outcome.

Rumor has it Jamar did a little bit of underage drinking, which is why he didn't play today.

Premium board on Rivals, although I think somebody also mentioned it on the Illini Board.

Weber said on the postgame show Jamar "didn't take care of business" which he said after Warren Carter missed a game earlier this year, only to play the next game. I'm going to assume Jamar will be back against Michigan.
