But finally they had to concede that the Sox are a better team, although they said they'd like to have another shot at them with a healthy team. whatever.
October 17, 200520 yr Vladimir Guerrero was 1-for-20 in the series. That MIGHT have more to do with the Angels' woes than a couple of blown calls. Scioscia is a class act. I felt bad for him......for a minimicronanosecond....heh.....

October 17, 200520 yr Sweeping three games in their house should do a lot to quiet the "controversial" call of game 2. Angels fans will always remember but nationally it should become a much smaller part of the story.
October 17, 200520 yr If this series had gone 7 games and they lost in a very close run series, they might have had a point. But seriously...in 5 games, none of our starting pitchers gave up more than 3 runs. The Angels hit .175. Change 1 or 2 calls...and we win it in 6. Change the strike zone a bit in game 1, and we win it in 4.

October 17, 200520 yr Going in, I would much rather the Sox have faced the Yankees. I thought the Angels played us tough in the regular season and that we were in for a real fight. What an embarrassment for the Angels it turned out to be! The first two games were exciting. But after that, the Angels looked like they hardly deserved to be on the same playing field as the White Sox– and knew it.
