What happened to my Sig Pic?

Featured Replies

I posted this because I'm rather puzzled. I read the board a lot but don't post very often. I went to go post a new topic "The Go WhiteSox Banner" at Wrigley Field. and when I posted it, I noticed that my sig pic was gone. Instead, a box came up with a heading "User Posted Image." I went to "My Controls" and all of the settings were the same, but yet my image of "The Old Comiskey Park no longer shows up.

What happened??

What's the URL of the pic in your sig?

Kalapse...that graphic is just sick.

Rooftop, it could be that the image was pruned out. Every once in a while we clean out the server and I did that a while back and may have deleted it on accident.

Wierd. I went to my edit sig box, highlighted and copied my URL to paste here. I pasted it, and the URL didn't come up. Only the same User posted image box again.

Do you have the picture saved on your computer?

If so, just rehost it and put the rehosted URL in your signature.

Jason probably deleted it.

Not surprising.

:P :D :)

Thanks! I found it again on the google images sight! Only problem is that last time I had this picture that was this size, I received an e-mail from Soxtalk that either I had to remove it or crop it to size in order for it to fit the standards that was set for the sig pics. I forgot who cropped it to size for me. If you how to do it, be my guest. If not, can you direct me to someone who can? Thanks!

If needed, the following is the new URL

Agreed! But as stated earlier, somebody previously on the board was able to crop it down to fit the new regulation guidelines. I just forgot who it was! Maybe when others see this, that they can direct me to who can format it to meet the soxtalk sizing regulations!

Like... this?

This probably won't make sense to you, but I was in a heavy hitter bowling league a few years back, and when this one anchor man would throw a double to win a game, he got wired as heck and he always yelled out his own slogan. For the help that you gave me, I'll shoot it at ya..."Who yeah, Do Yeah, Do Yeah , Who Yeah, We Got em' Now!!!!! Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha!!!" In short.... Thanks a ton knightni. The old Comiskey pic is a constant reminder to me of where my Sox roots got started. and the great times that were spent there with my dad before he passed away.I was born in 1959, and I have been a die-hard Sox fan even BEFORE conception!!! Thanks Again!! Have a good one!
