October 31, 200520 yr QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Oct 30, 2005 -> 03:26 PM) They have a right not to go if they don't want to. I wouldn't call them names, people still have strong beliefs against it, many people do and if that's the way they feel, let them be that way. For me, it wouldn't matter to me but I'm not everyone. Who knows if they're so wrong? Perhaps during a fight for a loose ball, they might start making out?
October 31, 200520 yr QUOTE(qwerty @ Oct 27, 2005 -> 12:11 AM) I have already seen ''fans'' of the comets say they will not go to a game next season becuase of it. Wait. The WNBA has fans?! This is news to me.
October 31, 200520 yr QUOTE(Greg The Bull Luzinski @ Oct 29, 2005 -> 02:24 PM) There is a big difference between Hermanson's "peace sign" goatee and Rowand versus Piazza having his beard shaved into the shape of a chain. Only one of these men gets their beard possessionally sculped by a stylist. The Miller Lite commercial would call it "man-scaping". Others would say "metrosexual". Either way, there have been whispers about Piazza for a long time. wasn't he married last off-season.
October 31, 200520 yr http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Piazza On January 29, 2005, at an evening wedding at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Miami with 120 guests that included former Mets pitcher Al Leiter and Detroit Tigers catcher Ivan Rodriguez, Piazza married his girlfriend of two years, Alicia Rickter, a Playboy model formerly of the TV show Baywatch.

The problem is that there is this gay stereotype around which couldn't be farther from the truth. My cousin is a huge Yankee fan (lives in New York), is a lawyer, and doesn't even live in the gay part of New York. Yet because he is gay people just assume he talks with a lisp, wears dresses, and sleeps with little boys. And that is not the case at all. In fact he was married for 5 years before he came out. I have a great time hanging out with my cousin. I am personally not gay however if people want to be gay let them be gay. Edited October 31, 200520 yr by White Sox Josh

I have a great time hanging out with my cousin. I am personally not gay however if people want to be gay let them be gay. It's not uncommon to have a gay relative anymore. That's just the way it is nowadays. Like I said, I don't have a problem with gays, but it's the people's choice on whether to come or not, and if being gay is the reason, no matter how pathetic of an excuse a reason is, so be it.
