November 2, 200520 yr I think he had a good era as a starter and thats what he is being brought back 4.... idonno its not like they broke the bank on him lol
November 2, 200520 yr Whats more interesting is how he should have been in the rotation all year last year yet they jobbed him out in the pen where he is ineffective. Surprised he came back given that as a lefty starter you figure he'd be in a bit of demand. He must love the city
November 2, 200520 yr Where is the end to this joke? How f'n dumb are the Cubs, already?!!? (p.s. I think bringing Rusch back was a smart move by the Cubs. I think he will perform well in whatever role he is given, but shuffling him back and forth from starter to reliever hurt him more than anything)

November 2, 200520 yr Rusch had a career season in 04 and now this season he came back to earth. I wouldn’t be surprised if he posts an ERA around 5 for next year.
November 3, 200520 yr So after showing the Cubs that 2004 was a fluke, the Cubs didn't allow Glendon to pick up his $2 million option but instead decided to give him another year along with bump in pay?!?!? What f***ing sense does that make?
