    • love it - because vazquez has been and can again be a front of the line starter. i think that ozzie and cooper will be able to help vazquez get back and be a very very effective pitcher. the cell wont be a big enough factor.

    • like it - because we get an OK starter for 3 more years... Garland would have walked.... the cell might hurt vazquez a little but not enough to acount for more then 3 swing decissions - which i dont mind.

    • dislike it - because i think that vazquez will not be able to pitch the way he did with the expos or how he did with the yankees in the first half of 2004.... the cell will account for AT LEAST 3 extra losses just because vazquez won't be able to keep the ball in the park.

    • hate it - because it is stupid and vazquez sucks balls.... garland was one of our best pitchers.... he helped us win the world series.... vazquez wont be able to strike out many DH's like he did pitchers in the NL.... the cell will be like a launching pad when he pitches and he will not even pitch .500 at home!

We are looking to add to the equation, fortify it, and not anything else." If he is just trying to add to the equation- is it very well possible a trade of El-duque and Young for Vazquez can happen?

    This was quoted in the scott merkin's article: Garland figures to earn in the $6 million range through arbitration, but could be replaced by Brandon McCarthy in the rotation if he was shipped to another team. Of course, the White Sox would prefer to move Orlando 'El Duque' Hernandez and his $4.5 million salary, along with a prospect, setting up one of the best rotations in baseball with Mark Buehrle, Freddy Garcia, Vazquez, Garland and Contreras.

    Now thats a rotation!!!! But what about BMac :huh

    he would take duques loogy relife spot in the pen....

     

    i know there is other speculation out there but i wanted to specualte about the hottest rumor in this poll.

    BMac gets into the rotation if someone gets injured. Also consider that MB and FG are pitching in this world baseball thing this spring. Those guys have a lot of innings in them. BMac will be needed.

    Well because with the right pitching coach(Coop), Vazquez can be electric. Not just good, electric. He has as good of stuff as anyone else on the staff if not better when on.
