Damn, that's messed up about Tyson's knee. It was a hustle play, for those who missed the game. Tyson was going after a rebound and landed on Songalia, who had just taken a dive in the paint for reasons that I still can't figure out. Darius is just a goofy-ass motherf***er, but he is also the best shooter on the team and a damn good passer, so I can't talk too much s***.

Id say that was one of our worse played games and we still won... god the raptors are bad. Tyson looked good today b4 his injury so that kind of sucks... but maybe this will give him time to treat his ashtma or whatevr.

 

Nocioni is starting to piss me off.... his shot is much improved but he is starting to seem like such a dumb player out there... making dumb turnovers not looking at the ball and missing passes... or missing screens on offense or whatevr.

And so it's gonna be competitive for those last 2 spots in the East isn't it.

 

Looks like Miami, Indiana, Detroit, Cleveland, Milwaulkee and whoever wins the Atlantic Division are locks.

 

The final 2 spots I think will come down to Chicago, Orlando, Washington and New Jersey. And I'm actually starting to like our chances, with Grant Hill back. But you know the Nets are probably gonna get their act together sooner rather than later, the Wizards will probably actually start playing defense at some point, and the Bulls have quite a few home games to go thru yet. Should be good to watch.

I'm not even a Knicks fan, but it's dumb for any Bulls fan to argue Tyson against Eddy. It's not even close. Tyson is the one with all the health problems right about now. The Bulls have more wins, but they have won in spite of Tyson which is why he is not back on the bench. Eddy has improved his rebounding and one on one defense. I'm not saying he's an all defensive player, but Eddy Curry > Tyson Chandler and it's by a large margin.

but i'll concede that this arguement is pointless... The Eddy/Tyson debate is becoming monotonous and much like masterbation... while entertaining for awhile, continual indulgence in this act could cause blindess (thats what my dad tells me)

 

Tyson cant score... has horrible hands... has no bulk and has had health problems recently... But i believe his long ass arms change shots, and his willingness to crash the boards makes a more valuable player than Eddy Curry and his occasional 20 point efforts (which 15 of will be in the 1st half).

 

I dont really care, i liked eddy while he was here... and i guess the bottom line is that niether of these two are worth the contracts rewarded, and lets all hope that eddy knows what hes doing and doesnt f***ing kill himself with his heart condition, because that honestly does scare me a little.

Don't worry, Murcie. Anybody who knows the game of basketball realizes the importance of defense and rebounding. You win with hard-working players like Tyson Chandler, not Eddy f***ing Curry. I've come across plenty of dumbass basketball fans in my life, and nitetrain is no exception.
