January 16, 200620 yr Is there a site where you can download episodes of shows. I missed the beginning of 24 tonight??
January 16, 200620 yr ok great - i don't trust downloading that s***... is it going to give me spyware up the ass?
January 16, 200620 yr dude, it had a lot of twists and turns... and I missed the first 10 minutes, SOB... so I don't know what brought Jack back from the dead. but i was very shocked at some of the stuff that happened.
January 16, 200620 yr QUOTE(Jimbo's Drinker @ Jan 16, 2006 -> 03:53 AM) Can someone pm me with the synopsis of this nights show. I'll send you one, as best I can remember.
January 16, 200620 yr QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jan 15, 2006 -> 11:01 PM) ok great - i don't trust downloading that s***... is it going to give me spyware up the ass? No, just make sure it's an active torrent with tons of leechers and a good number of seeders. It just downloads an .avi to your computer, no spyware there.
January 16, 200620 yr Ya, torrents rock. On a sidenote, if someone ever could find a way to put up episodes on a database I bet they could make good money on them (keep the commercials in them and make it where people can't skip over them...so the sponsors are happy and willing to support it). DVR's probably make it less likely for something like this to happen, but I still think it would be nice.

January 16, 200620 yr Google video has tons of CBS programming as well now. Their layout still sucks. IPTV is in our future. But everything will be DRMed so there will be almost no way to copy, edit or distribute it.
January 16, 200620 yr If you are going the torrents route, check out torrentspy.com, this is where I usually get all my stuff from if I miss a show or if I want to pick up an application. Also tvtorrents.com has a good database and isohunt.com.
January 16, 200620 yr I freaking love 24. If you guys can't find the actual episodes tell me and I'll try and type of a semi decent post explaining it. *Spoiler alert (from the 1st episode for those that may have DVR'd it but not yet watched it)* Kap, I guess I can explain the 1st 10 minutes for ya, but you didn't miss anything aside from actually seeing President Palmer's death and the killing of Almada's wife and he is badly injured in a car bombing.

Since it's already spoiled, I wanna say -- The one thing that's always pissed me off is that the show relies so much on particular characters that the plot twists to get them reinvolved are absurd. President's term expired? Okay, we'll just call him an advisor but make him the de facto Pres. Tony's been in jail for F'N TREASON? Well, I don't see why he shouldn't be reinstated. Which is just a snarky way of saying, if Tony goes from critical condition to functioning agent at some point in this season, I'm gonna get pissed. The best part of this episode was showing that they are willing to kill off the regulars.
January 17, 200620 yr Two things -- First, what a great start, or restart, to this series. And I wasn't even sure I'd watch the season at all. Second, it's so annoying when Fox news's lead story is about 24. When any network's lead story is about their own damn show. Wtf happened to Carol Marin? Carol, we need you!!!
