Best place to buy jerseys?

Featured Replies

I want to get an Ozzie jersey (prefferably the road grey). Where's the cheapest/most reliable place online (or in Chicago) to find one?

Thanks.

If I'm not mistaken, the Grandstand offers the same thing MLB.com does, but at $40 cheaper for an authentic numbered jersey.

Grandstand does the best job imo.

WS shirts are 5.70 at Carsons...ALCS shirts 6 bucks...

Well you could do that. What I did was buy a rep jersey from sears for like 35 bux gray blank one. Then I sent it to Grandstand and they customized it to Podsedniks number for like 60 bux, with authentic lettering and patches.

What I do is I buy the jersey then take it to Sports Huddle in Lockport. The owners name is Mike, and he does an awesome job, and is very inexpensive. The only thing is, he makes jerseys for traveling sports teams, which is always his first priority, meaning he takes a little longer then it should to finish the jersey. But for authentic lettering and patches for $30, I soppose it is worth the wait. FYI it takes about 2 months for him to get the jersey back to you.

I'd go with Triple Threat Sports.

I have a AJ, Rowand, and Maggs jersey all from Grandstand.  I decided to buy a Jenks jersey during the postseason from Triple Threat Sports just to give them a try. I was happy with my purchase and will wear it often this season, HOWEVER, you really can feel a difference in touching the fabrics. The one from TTS is alot thinner than those at Grandstand.

hmm, no kidding?? I thought all Majestic Authentic jersey's are made of the same material?? Are they all different variations??

I can think of times when thinner would be better.

Every time I step on a scale, for one.... :D

The one I got at the White Sox garage sale is really nice :)

my favorite one i have i actually got through mlb.com.

It's the authentic 2003 mark buehrle road jersey, w/ the '03 ASG patch on it. The quality is far and away better than any of my other ones, but if I remember correctly, it cost the most also.

I got a gray Buehrle and a mock vest Cotts from Triple Threat and they are both awesome. The cotts is a little thinner than the Buehrle but they both feel great and look great as well. I always get a comment when i wear either one. It took about a month to get the Buehrle and about 2 weeks to get the cotts. TTS does good work and is very affordable.

I just bought a replica road grey customized jersey with the World Series champion patch at Triple Threat for MUCH less than I paid for my fiancee's jersey at X-mas so thanx everyone! Wish I looked there back in Dec :bang
