Virgin asks Janet Jackson to lose weight

NEW YORK: Pop singer Janet Jackson has been ordered to lose weight by the label Virgin by September or it won't release her album.

 

According to pagesix.com, a source said: "Janet had a really bad year. After the incident at the Super Bowl (two years ago), it just went downhill. Her album 'Damita Jo' was a flop. Then her brother Michael had the child-molestation trial - it just wasn't good to her."

 

Janet took to food to find solace. The source added: "This new album is supposed to be pretty good, but Virgin feels it can't market it without Janet being back in fighting form, so they have hired a personal trainer for her and put her on a diet. She has to lose at least 20 pounds."

 

A friend added: "Janet always gains weight when she is not working and always loses it in time to promote her albums. Janet always takes care of it when it matters."

It's a little deceptive to use a picture from 2002 and a recent one and say OH LOOK!!! SHE GOT FAAAAAAAAAAAAAAT!!!!", but even still, that's quite a different looking woman in that second shot.

....she got a LOTTA booty, though....
