gotta love Jr.'s speeding on pit road and dropping twice his positions to 28th.  Amazing,  i turned the channel when i heard he sped and had to go to the tail end of the longest line.....then i heard johnson won.    Wasn't really happy after that...not happy at all.

word.

Bill Lester will attempt to qualify for Sunday's Nextel Cup Golden Corral 500 in a Bill Davis Racing car sponsored by Waste Management. At stake is a chance to become the first African-American in NASCAR's premier series since Willy T. Ribbs finished 37th at Michigan International Speedway on June 15, 1986.

Unfortunately hes gonna have to qualify his way in which could be trouble but thats what hes best at. This may be an audition for a Toyota team next year but hes already 45 years old and doesnt have much time left.

WOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! Jeff Burton just won the Busch race!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ahhh damn rain....and it's looks like it's going to stay

Lester's Waste Management car finished in 38th.

That was great news Queen! :cheers

What happened to him yesterday? He was in the Top 10 most of the day and he finished 25th. I am guessing he had a late fuel stop.

He had a severe tire vibration - had to come in before the tire blew up completely.

Funny stuff

Kevin Harvick, who last week in Atlanta had an on-track run-in with Kurt Busch, blasted Busch in a Friday morning press conference at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Asked if there was one thing he’d do to change his own public perception, Harvick teed off on Busch. “I think I’d have probably whupped Kurt Busch before now. Obviously, he forgot about getting punched in the nose last time by Jimmy Spencer,” Harvick said. Spencer hit Busch in the face after a race in Michigan in 2003, following contact between the two on the track.

At first, Harvick appeared to back down from his attack on Busch, quickly adding, “I probably shouldn’t have said that.” But then he kicked it into high gear.

“I’ll still tell you what I think,” Harvick said. “I’d still like to whip his ass. Before the year’s over, he’ll make a fool out of (car owner) Roger Penske. … I shouldn’t have said that, either. It’s hard not to pick on a guy when his ears are pinned back. I should stop. My wife’s looking at me like, ‘You should really stop.’”

haha.....funny guy that Harvick.....but he's right.

I wonder where Harvick will be racing next year (or as some of the rumors go, later this year).

f***ING RAIN! That is all. lol

i know he won't be Bushs teammate :lolhitting :lolhitting

Freaking nuts! Before this race, Burton was 11th and now thanks to a certain someone, Burton is 18th. Will his f***ing bad luck ever change?

I wouldnt be to worried about Jeff hes gonna be up in or around the top 10 every week he'll be alright.

Apparently Jeff B is still ticked at Gordon, but doesn't think he should get that much of a penalty for shoving Kenseth. When Burton pulled up next to the altercation, I seriously thought he was going to jump out and help Kenseth. After reading an article that was on either jayski or that's racin' (about JB still being ticked at JG), I am starting to think he was going to and decided against it at the last minute.

I think Nascar needs a fight like the one Cale Yarborough and whatshisface got into years back after wrecking each other on the front stretch at Daytona (I think it was Daytona anyhow lol).

Do not read this post if you have issues with cuss words.

With that out of the way...

[vent] f*** YOU Kurt Busch! You are a no-talent hack you stupid son of a f***ing c*** b****! Again, f*** YOU Kurt Busch!!!!! [/vent]

:chair :fight :crying :stick

There....now I feel much better.

I had a feeling i could go to this thread and see you venting about Burton. I saw what happened and immediatly thought of you being pissed.

I for one am relieved that the wreck Jr. was in wasn't serious, and he's been able to stay up front all day. Here's to bad luck for Johnson :cheers

And of course DW tried to make an excuse for Dumbo by saying he had brake issues. Those brakes seem just fine.

8 Laps, Green Flag!!

This is excellent!

...oh my goodness...caution again...Kenseth.

jr. refusing to lay down and die... :headbang

just imagine how good he'd be today without the front end and half the back end missing...

red flag!!!

he wouldn't have had to pit early when it happened......meaning he would have track position earlier. He could have been fighting for the lead at this moment :banghead

Junior's car just looks sick. I can't believe he's battling the way he is.

I'm pulling for Jeffy to get a good run here on the re-start and overtake Stewart.

I need a win in the worst way.

That got real interesting with 3 to go.

When Gordon got loose in that turn, that sealed it for Stewart.

I'll take a second place finish.

4th. will definitely live with that... :headbang
