Anderson is starting in Winston-Salem, pretty impressive for a first timer basically. The Sox must have a lot of confidence in him. He started in RF in the opener and went 2-4 with a 2b and 2 runs.

Anderson hit his first home run today. He is up to .250 on the year.

Anderson is batting .286 with a .344 OBP, a .571 slugging which is good for a .915 OPS. He is showing that tremendous pop in the bat with 3 doubles, a triple and a homer. Showing some base running skills as well with two stolen bases in two attempts.

Amador got demoted to W-S from Bham.

Anderson was named to the Worlds team roster for the Futures Game. Those guys must have read the Phil Rogers article and got caught up in the hype.

On the year, Anderson is batting .247 with 6 home runs. He will be playing in the future's game sunday.

Anderson is in Kanny. Batting .277 with 4 HRs 32 RBIs. He has 32 BBs compared with 41 Ks.

Anderson hit .400 in June and .300 in July, so he is heating up in the second half.
