March 5, 200620 yr First, let me say hello. Nifty little site yall have here. Been a Sox fan since before it was fashionable to be so. My early years were in the Veeck days. I respect the Cubs fans that are actual baseball fans... both of them. I have 4 seats in the outfield near the Sox Pen. In the last 15 years I have seen about 40 games a year. I am headed to Arizona tomorrow for two days. Looking forward to another great season. Anyway, what is the poop on Owens? I read early on that Ozzie was pretty high on this kid for his speed. Is Anderson just a fore gone conclusion or does Owens have a shot?

I think he has an exceleent shot at amking team, although more likely, he'll start at Charlotte and come up a couple months in.
March 6, 200620 yr I think Borchard's surprisingly effective ST so far has knocked Owens out of the picture. I think JO is a CF like Pods was. He can play it, but that doesn't mean he should.
