My early years were in the Veeck days. I respect the Cubs fans that are actual baseball fans... both of them. I have 4 seats in the outfield near the Sox Pen. In the last 15 years I have seen about 40 games a year. I am headed to Arizona tomorrow for two days. Looking forward to another great season. Anyway, what is the poop on Owens? I read early on that Ozzie was pretty high on this kid for his speed. Is Anderson just a fore gone conclusion or does Owens have a shot? Defensively his arm is a liability, and will probably limit him to LF. Owens does play center - he started there a couple days ago. I think he has an exceleent shot at amking team, although more likely, he'll start at Charlotte and come up a couple months in.
