March 13, 200620 yr After watching the first round of games and first game for the second round. What are your current wbc rankings? My rankings 1 Puerto Rico - though I think they may lack the sp depth to go all the way. 2 Dominican republic One loss, and a few blowouts. 3 Cuba- Playing with a lot of heart and energy 4 Korea - Unbeaten, but not too impressed with their schedule thus far. 5 Venezuela - Dominant pitching any given night but inconsistent 6 Usa - A sleeping Giant 7 Japan - a couple hard defeats, have an outside shot to put it back together. 8 Mexico Impressive Starting Pitching, not enough depth in the lineup. March 13, 200620 yr 1. Puerto Rico- Impressive All Around 2. Cuba- Still my pick to win it all 3. USA- They should get on a roll right about now 4. Dominican- Fell down a couple spots. I don't like how they got dominated yesterday 5. Korea- Undefeated, but haven't really played anyone. Could very well stil advance 6. Japan- They should be better than their record 7. Venezuela- The hitting is very lacking 8. Mexico- Won't have enough to compete with the big boys
March 13, 200620 yr Long season 150+ games... 1. US 2. DR 3. VEN 4. Japan 5. Puerto Rico 6. Mexico 7. Cuba 8. Korea In a long season, this order would eventually establish itself.

March 14, 200620 yr tell me why Is should think otherwise, instead of typing in a couple smileys. Haha I'm just kidding buddy. I like what you said, They got enough pitching but they lack batters who can constantly put up numbers.
March 14, 200620 yr Cuba and Korea are the two teams that impress me the least. Mexico is pretty close. The rest of the bracket is pretty solid.
March 14, 200620 yr The US looks pretty solid whenever Willis isn't on the mound. Outside of that the DR, Venezuela, and Puerto Rico are the only teams that impress me. Cuba is okay, but they don't seem to have any pitching depth.
March 15, 200620 yr I guess right now I'd have to put Korea as number 1, they're just unstopable right now.
