probably no where. my only question is, what's with the no-bid contracts? you would think with such a large deficit, the govt would bid these guys out against each other and negotiate a lower rate.

I am very curious to see what happens here. As with the DP World mess, my question is, is this company reliable in its security record?

I have to admit, the situation seems a little odd to me. It LOOKS like the U.S. would essentially route cargo through a Bahamas port to be scanned, before arriving at US ports. Sounds good from a security standpoint, but adds extra cost for cargo carriers. And I wonder how residents of the Bahamas feel about this.
