Heads up: Big week for Sox in Sports Illustrated

Featured Replies

I couldn't find links to the articles, but you might want to check out this week's SI if you don't subscribe:

- Rick Reilly's column is on Ozzie.

- There is a piece on Thome in the baseball section.

- The diving/falling play Iguchi made on Saturday is a huge, two-page spread of a picture. Pretty funny. He's in midair and sideways.

Carry on.

yea i have that issue

I will be heading out to newstands now... thanks for the heads up.

What's the piece on Thome about?

Well I guess it will take a 4-0 sweep with great pitching and clutch hitting in the WS for the Sox to make the cover of SI. Oh, wait, that won't do it either.

Yeah, SI is pretty bad about showing their biases.

To be fair, they were on the cover the previous week (Pod's homer) after going up 2-0 in the series.
