Man, I can make so many jokes about that D-Rays lineup. Remind their catcher to tag the runner if it's close, note that they have a Lee at 1b and bet how jealous the Cubs are....but hell, I think we'll get to hear Hawk say "Nawton" again, and that's enough for me. And yes, that is the same Nawton.

Yet again, Garland pitches without the regular starting line-up. No Brian Anderson tonight, winning will be tough.

scary to think we were nearly the St. Petersburg White Sox.

That stadium is by far a bigger hole than the Metrodome. And that says something.

Aren't there usually a lot more day games on Wednesdays than there were today?

scotty, he gone

is it me or is iguchi slumping a little bit.

I have never been Tampa but I have been to the Hump Dome. And the Hump Dome is the biggest peice of s*** I have ever seen. So if the juice box is worse, that is really saying something.

Both have a ceiling of cigarette stained white and the acoustics make it sound like they are playing in an airplane hanger. But at least the metrodome has some character and history.

Not good AB's for Scotty or Gooch

its thome time :bringit

cmon thome

It's not you. We're almost down to 2 .300 hitters in our lineup today (and 1 .400 hitter, but I'm ignoring him)

such a weird positioning against thome.

It's not that bad in person, the MetroDome on the other hand is f***ing horrible unless you're watching a Vikings game.

i dont like the way its looking

Good job Jim, now let's have PK split the gap

cmon paulie hit it out.

cant believe im saying this, but go santana. beat them damn tigers.

You know, one of these days, Thome ought to try to lay down a bunt into that shift. Ortiz did it a few weeks ago & wound up on first.

splitting the gap would not score Thome

With 2 outs it would

PK has scored from first on a gapper before, and Thome is quite noticeably faster than Paul
