May 31, 200619 yr I think DJ's come a long way and not only to I see DJ as just tolerable but I think he and Hawk are becoming a pretty damn good duo and extremely enjoyable to listen to
May 31, 200619 yr DJ has very few insights, doesn't give you any behind the scenes info and usually just parrots what Hawk sez. during the pre-game set up he'll say: A) Buehrle pitched great last time and if he does it again, it should be another W. Or B) Buehrle was off last game, but he should get back on track and give us a W tonight. Never says WHY he was bad or WHY he was good or WHAT he has to do to execute against the opponent that night. He's vanilla.

May 31, 200619 yr Darrin Jackson is the biggest jinx in baseball. For example, last nights game: Hawk (After Clevelend scored their 1st run): That is just another unearned run given up by Buehrle. DJ: Yeah, and I think it's going to stay that way. :Next Pitch: Hawk: That ball is driven into right center...and it's gone. A 2-run homerun by Jhonny Peralta.
May 31, 200619 yr I don't know why most people here seem to despise of DJ's announcing. I don't think it is as bad as some people make it out to be.
