I hope Iguchi is OK.

The sox haven't lost a game to a bad team in about a month, and now that they are two runs behind late in the game you guys are already having a b****fest

Great time for a 3 run homer.

This is pathetic.

The tigers will rape this team, and pound them because they got the message, sweep crappy teams. We fart around and f*** around, and drop this because we lolly gag and sleep walk through a game with a pitcher that everyone else hits, except for us. Why, because he throws a changeup away and our guys are waiting for the hotel bar.

Hit the f***ing ball already, this guy sucks. f***ing 2 hits only.

Hey world champs, the rain is not that far away. Hit the ball or you will lose a rain shortened game.

Damn straight!!!!

It's not like we're the best offense in baseball by 23 runs or anything. These guys don't know what they are doing!

We haven't played a bad team in about a month. And when we do we seem to struggle at times.

I would have trouble saying it any better.

The sad thing, is that everyone including the team agrees that this is going to go down to end. So every game in important. But we drop games to the Royals, we drop them to the Rays, we drop them to crap. While everyone else is just making them sweep and go away.

Someone needs to light a fire under this teams ass when they play crappy teams. Freddy is throwing curveballs to get to a full count to the pitcher. Thats sad.

here comes the rain

his foot was on the bag - why the hell did he tag him?

And how does that translate into beating bad teams we should sweep.

This team is the worst team in the NL Central. That should tell you something.

You're good with finding stats. What are we averaging in games started by RHP and LHP this season?

Its the Danny Tardabull Syndrome. A homerun when you are up by ten does not make you a good hitter. It also does not make you win tomorrow's game. Hit it when it counts.

Yes, when you play 6-8 bad teams an aggregate 50 times a year, guess what, you are not going to go 50-0.

As long as the Sox win this series, we have nothing to complain about.

The Pirates are a very competitive team at home.

Way to keep trying to pull the ball. Just an awful approach at the plate by our guys tonight.

well......................this sucks.

What? Trying to pull a change up away does not work?

The Pirates suck. In the past, we would have problems because the teams we were chasing would dominate the weak teams, and we would lose games to those weak teams that we shouldn't have. However, the Pirates have clearly outplayed us tonight so far.

The pretty much outplayed us last night too.

Agree with this sentiment too. THey don't know how to approach certain pitchers. And that is seen in the fact that they are only 23 runs up on the second best offense, when they should be many more.

Yeah, a record of 18-21 is very intimidating

Unfortunately, that first home run Freddy gave up essentially won the game for the Pirates, Sox seem quite content to let this one go and get out of the rain

This pitcher has a 1.72 WHIP.

His last start was against the mighty royals and their great offense who tore this guy to shreds. 6 earned in 4.1 innings.

The Pirates are nearly a .500 team at home. The Pirates do indeed suck on the road

And they've struggled all years vs lefties.

Freddy s***s the bed. Nice f***ing effort.
