In the past, we would have problems because the teams we were chasing would dominate the weak teams, and we would lose games to those weak teams that we shouldn't have.

In the past? It's happening again. The team we are chasing hasn't lost to the Cubs, Astros or Royals while we have.

The pretty much outplayed us last night too.

No way. We kicked their ass, but just played stupid and with no focus.

Maybe I should invoke the

"I wouldn't be surprised if tonight's game was the start of a long losing streak" battle cry

The Pirates are nearly a .500 team at home. The Pirates do indeed suck on the road

We have the best offense in baseball, we have the second best record. We have our number 2 pitcher going up against a guy who might crack our AAA rotation.

The royals swept them.

Which is the reason they pretty much played better, ... though not good enough to win.

We get the point.

good morning, good afternoon, goodnight

Pirates win this one

Freddy is the worst 9 game winner in the league. By far.

ehhh, what the difference between a rain shortened 3-0 loss versus a rain shortened 2-0 loss? Not much.

The worst thing about this series is now the Tigers don't face Duke, who would have given them the best chance to beat the Tigers. Instead, we have to face him tomorrow, and he's the same type of lefty we struggle against.

Okay, now pay attention...because this is the part no one seems to be getting

Funny that you would say that, LOL.

Man....everyone, besides Iguchi on D last night, seems to be a step slow this series.

And after we leave, they will promptly go back on their long losing streak. The next start this kid has he will be the average pitcher he is always.

We are facing 2 more of these types of pitchers over the next two games.

It might be nice to have our guys get a plan. Hit the ball the other way.

Now the pitcher gets a hit. Sweet.

It's like clockwork....the Sox fall behind, and certain posters attack my posts even more.

Garcia have 1 year left on his contract?

Hopefully we can come back tonight. If not, this is a terrible f***ing sports day. Tigers won, Yankees won, Cubs won, and the Bulls pick the Tyson Chandler of college bball.

Perhaps we can get lucky and face the Tiger bullpen after a long rain delay, because we don't have a prayer against Maholm.

LOL. I'm not attacking your posts. You telling someone that we get the point after saying it over and over was funny though, becuase that is exactly what you do.

that catch in a driving rain could not have been easy.

Hopefully the ball will be really slippery for Maholm next inning, because the Sox are running out of chances

this may have been the first time in human history you've ever used the word "hopefully"

Silly me for thinking that the 2nd best team in all of baseball could sweep the doormat of the NL Central.

Minny swept them at home. Maybe they didnt get the memo that the Pirates are great at home.

Road sweeps are incredibly difficult and rare, no matter what the team.
