Juan Pierre had this to say about the trash throwing...

"They get tickets, I guess they can do whatever they want," Cubs center fielder Juan Pierre said. "As long as they don't hit me, I'm all right."

Dusty had this to say about the great number of Sox fans in the stands the past two days...

"Where did they get all the tickets? That's my question," Baker said. "I was surprised. They keep telling me there's no tickets. They must have bought these tickets back in November."

Tickets actually don't go on sale until February.....

C'mon... You know what Pierre was really thinking. It's obvious. You can't expect him to bash the fans he plays for.

Most Sox fans got their tickets from beleaguered Cubs fans who couldn't stand to watch that pathetic team.

there was not a better time for a "die hard cub fan: revolt than the 9th. you almost feel band in the sense that the diehards are overshadowed by the people who have no interest in a real cub season. on the other hand it makes me look like a genious by saying "i told ya so."

If that has been the case, I can't wait to see the turnout tomorrow.

What the f*** does beleaguered mean?

Actually, the best quotes after the game came from...who else:

"You never want to see fans throw stuff on the field," Pierzynski said. "It's dangerous for the players and the fans. I just hope I don't get fined again for inciting the crowd."

:lolhitting

Meanwhile, Pierzynski has become Public Enemy No. 1 among Cubs fans. It was a genuine surprise for Pierzynski to hear, but also puts him in elite company.

"I thought that was the goat," said Pierzynski with a smile. "Am I going to be Bartman from now on? I don't know what I did. I don't remember doing anything quite that bad. I don't remember costing them a World Series or anything else, but that's the way it is.

"Fans have to have a hero and an enemy. Right now, I'm the enemy."

Does it really matter as long as it comes from the mouth of Kalapse?
