"Many, many teams are looking for middle relievers but very few are available because, quite simply, most of them are cheap. "It really doesn't make a lot of sense to trade a good middle reliever because you're not paying him that much, and as soon as you trade one, you've got to find a replacement," said an AL GM. "Everybody is looking for the same thing," said another AL executive, "and there's almost nothing out there.'"

 

Which means either teams have to overpay, or rely on unproven guys (like Montero) or hope guys having disastrous seasons (Politte) turn it around.

 

Good thing the White Sox' major bullpen hole is a mop up guy.

Screw Buster, we already got Riske in this nonmoving market. I have faith in KW, he knows his s***. I discredit anything that comes from ESPN and its s***ty affiliates.

I think we should move montero or Tim Redding or Boone Logan for a prospect or two. Im sure someone will overpay for a reliever with ok numbers, and MLB experience.
