Birmingham still mathematically alive. Nice outing by Barons pitchers. Bullard to start tomorrow night, I believe. Yofu to start the Rickwood Classic on Wednesday.

Winston-Salme lost 2-0 and Kanny won 10-2.

W-S still with a two game lead over Salem for the first half division title.

No boxes for either yet.

Arnie Munoz really has been doing good lately. I won't be too surprised if we see him in a few more weeks.

  • Author

Agreed. He has only had 4 bad outings all year and three were in his first four appearances in early April.

Rex, how do you like Bajenaru?

Rex, how do you like Bajenaru?

I like him. He throws hard and has been very effective.

He is one of those guys that could sneak up on you and end up in the big leagues before you know it or he could get buried behind lots of prospects and never make it.

I like what I have seen. Whether the opportunity arises in the Sox organization, I am not sure. I think he would be very good trade material. He would be well-respected by other organizations, I think.

Honel takes the loss with a s***ty outing. What's he doing, taking lessons from Buehrle?? ;-)

rex ya know ........that was just not nice........ :P btw.....i am having problems with the site i usually use for knights stats could you be so kind as to put a few up there for me????? i know you use a different place than i do.....thanks........

A sign Sox have gave up is AR back.

I think that Rowand not playing WAS a sign - a sign that the team wanted some production from that position for a change.

Holy s*** Arnie?!!! 2 2/3 IP and 6 K's Damn. If I was Rick White, Gary Glover and/or Dave Sanders I would be scared of losing my job to Munoz and Ginter.

Aaron Rowand not playing, was a bad sin... he was called up. :D :D :D

Are you sure he was called up? Wasn't Willie on our DL and taking BP the other day in LA?

And how has Burke been doing in the minors? I remember how surprised everyone was with him in spring training...

Burke is a AAA-AAAA player, that is it.

I was thinking the Sox might pull a trade to get a CF'er since we have had such a pathetic offensive output from that position. Rowand is supposed to be called up and that's fine too as long as he produces. Defensively he gives it his all and let's hope he starts to hit those line drives.
