Sox v. Rangers, Gamethread

Featured Replies

Pablo didn't get much on it, but Kinsler made a nice play considering who was running down the line.

Inning over. But Koronka must be into the 60's in terms of pitch count in just 2 innings.

Ugh....the Ozuna magic is offically gone. We need a 4th outfielder BADLY!

He's a bench player, nothing more. He always has been, and he always will be.

Back in the day, there were only postgame shows if the pitcher had a no-hitter, once the pitcher gives up a hit...hence the phrase

Cheers.

With the junk he's throwing, and the way the Rangers bullpen has been pitching lately, I wish he was in the 30s in terms of pitches. Against the Rangers, we need to capitalize on our opportunities, or else we're just waiting around for them to put together a series of doubles.

Everyone knows I hate Pods, but I think he should have been in the game tonight. He swung the bat better last night than he did in the Tigers series.

For the love of God we are starving for a clutch 2-out knock.

Like him or not, Freddy has looked really good tonight, despite throwing his offspeed stuff.

Not against Koronka. Its nice to have Pablo out there, he hits lefties far better than Pods hits lefties and defensively both of them are lousy (Pabs just has an excuse...he isn't really an outfielder).

pods couldnt buy a hit in the tigers series, he needs to get goin

Freddy is throwing 88 MPH on most of his FB's.

Freddy's been impressive first time through the lineup, but we'll see if he fools anybody on the 2nd and 3rd tries.

Freddy tried to nibble that AB.. something he's not very good at.

Freddy please don't let this be the beginning of the end with that walk

2 out walk issued by Freddy and now Kinsler is up. How the hell was that just called a ball (1-0 now to Kinsler).

Seriously, where the hell was that pitch

time to hit

Inning over...91 MPH hit very hard by Kinsler but Anderson is there.

Good thing that was Garcia's good fastball to Kinsler. If that pitch was 88 mph, and not 91 mph, it could have been 2-0.

Only thing I can think of is that the ump didn't get a good view since AJ got up and faked a throw to 1st.

i wanna see 8-10 runs tonight, offensive explosion.

Man, it's really so sad to watch Freddy now without his stuff. I thought he was by far our best clutch pitcher last season.

beautiful atta boy guch

Iguchi finally keeps the ball fair, and pokes it to right field. We need Thome to make some contact against the LHP tonight.

Please 3-4-5 - don't let Iguchi join our LOB total.
