Steve Perry just called... He said "Don't Stop Believin!" :D

Seriously... Go White Sox :gosox3:

You Can Do It! :headbang

I just wanted to ask you all, how were we last year around this time?

Starting to suck? I think so.

Sox are still in it in my book, and I'm happy we're taking out the trash of this organization. =)

well we sure as hell weren't 7.5 games out of first at this point last year.

it's sad as more and more of you turn into cub fans... :chimp

7.5 is a big gap, but there's a Wild Card spot still open for the taking. This isn't to say I don't think the Sox can't close the gap.

It is still only July with two full months of baseball left. If you are going to have a slump it is better to have it now than in September.

The Twins cannot keep an .800 winning percentage for the rest of the season, and the Tigers will come back to earth in August.

This is going to make for an exciting September. I figure all three teams in the Central will be within three games of each other around that time based off their projected schedules.

Being 7.5 games away from a playoff spot and and finding all the cheerleading still, then you might have a point. But to call anyone who has the slightest positive post a "cub fan" is a bit over the top.

We'll see how the year ends up. But to compare 2006 with last year isn't fair. This is a different team, with different players, strengths and weaknesses. No team follows the same path year in and year out. One thing is certain though-there is little certainty in baseball.

We were in 1st Place at that time. And ...... the SOX were good at moving runners over. And the bullpen was GOOD. And our #5 starter was pretty good.

Why can't the Twins keep winnning at a ridiculous rate? Cleveland did it last year. And why will the Tigers "come back to earth" in August? I remember hearing May, then June, then July, and now August as the ETA for the Tiger's return to earth. I don't think its going to happen.

We need to stop worrying about he Tigers and Twins. At the rate we're going thosse two teams can play.500 ball the rest of the year and still win more games.

We need to get on a hot streak and win some games.
