no they're just taking advantage of mistakes, but point taken

in my recollection, that's how we played in 2005.

Yep....he's given up 3 hits with 2 strikes on the batter. Everything he throws is up in the zone. Our strategy on the field has left a lot to be desired also.

Nice fishing pitch on 2 strikes. High straight change. Dumb

I was hoping that Judy wouldnt make an appearance for the rest of the year.

Garland sure going to make it tough to get a win today...

jeezuz...is he gonna make it out of the 1st???

Dear White Sox starting pitchers:

Please don't be afraid to get a strike out or double play when the other team is threatening.

Thanks,

Fathom

is Jon at 100 pitches yet?

nice dp...

A little late, but could have been worse.

ok, now lets hold it. jon will be fine.

finally a DP, i really hope Jon will have shaken off the cobwebs by the second inning

I am still trying to figure out how the rookie got out of the top half of this inning without getting destroyed. He had nothing but a medicore fastball. He threw a hanging curve for a strike, and managed to get out of it with only giving up one run.

Jon on the other side, decided to forget that he is good when he throws strikes, but not high ones.

Hopefully he will take off the ruby slippers for the rest of the game.

Terrible base running. We've made more outs on the bases in the last month than we did all last year.

Pitch Count:

Johnson - 29, 17 Strikes

Garland - 27, 15 Strikes

We'll see who comes out of the dugout next inning....Jon...or Judy.....

I loved how DJ said that according to the Sox scouting report, that Johnson didn't have a curve ball....yet we've seen it a lot in his first inning of work.

Just out of curiousity, how many young pitchers have shut us down over the past 5 years? What the hell are our scouts doing when they're supposed to be scouting this guys?

Credepopsitup is definitely back

Looks like Jon has only thrown two more pitches than the rookie in that inning.

High pitch on the outside corner and Crede tries to pull it and pops out.

Nice AB Joe.

ROSS!

is it just me or has crede been popping out a TON lately?

ROSS GLOAD FOR GOD.
