From the Southtown:

The Sox have agreed to terms with their fifth-round draft pick, right-handed pitcher Matthew Nachreiner from Round Rock High School in Cedar Park, Texas.

Nachreiner, who helped his high school to a runner-up finish in the state tournament, will report Monday to the Sox's advanced Rookie League team in Great Falls, Mont. Nachreiner's signing means the Sox now have agreed to terms with seven of their top 10 draft picks.

First rounders always take longer. hes gonna get signed up dont worry about that.

Sweeney (2nd) is gonna be a tough one from all i have read. IF we can somehow sign all 15 of our first 15... this is gonna be one hell of a draft.

I was guessing that since not one word has been said about him signing. At least Anderson has been out and about and talking to us. Has Sweeney even done that much?

Sweet, this guy is supposed to be pretty talented. Right now I want Brooks, Veal, and Sweeney signed. I'm assuming Anderson is going to be signed pretty damn quickly.

I have just made a page with all the Updated Signings

This kid is supposed to have a great arm.

Nachreiner is very nice signing, near first rounder if not his knee problem (something genetic. so could be lasting problem, but I have confidence he will be ok).

I agree with 3-4 you list as must signs and would like to add Hodges, the 13 rounder, tough kid with broken wrist who taught himself to hit opposite handed last season so he could play. To sign top 15 would be one of our better drafts.

I knew he'd be around soon :P
