Delmon knows how to go to right field. I wonder why our "vets" cant figure it out.

It just that Sox hitter's balls to right field hang up in the air long enough for fielders to make a sandwich, then catch the pop up. :P

The disturbing thing tonight is not only are we leaving a lot of guys on, but the at-bats with RISP have been dreadful.

We're actually facing three solid pitchers this wknd (all who have a good changeup). I'm sure Grudz will reach base 10 times this wknd.

Konerko has left a small village on the basepaths tonight.

We're not facing a 88 mph high sinker and medicore high changeup. Sadly, Corcoran looks like he's a better pitcher than Garland tonight. I can't wait for Pods to play Paul on the warning track.

So we walk the guy who's hitting .222, and who hits .202 against right handers, to face the guy who's hitting .272 and who hits .239 against right handers.

Why?

Because the better hitter is a righty.

IBB to Zobrist? I don't care if he's a switch-hitter, he's hitting .225. Get your head out of your ass, Ozzie.

This will be Corcoran's last inning. I'll take my chances if we can get 2 guys on for the top of the order.

What is sad is the other Wild Card/Playoff teams are serving this thing up to us on a platter.

If we can get to 3 games going into september we will surely scare the crap out of the tigers.

I get a nice little laugh out of the panic their fans have to be going through right now. We were there last year...and it's not fun.

lol Hawk made me chuckle there. What is he gonna do with all those beautiful women?

To ease the tension, I saw this gem via ESPN:

Pitching: Crain (MIN) 0.2 IP, 2 ER, 5 K

Impressive...if only it was true.

Beautiful young ladies!

I'd enjoy it a lot more if we weren't losing 4-1 to the D-Rays and helping the Tigers out immensely

Oh look more baserunners.

3.5 tonight barring comebacks from the Twins and Tigers. Of course we have to make up more runs than both those teams combined.

Why the bunt?
