August 30, 200619 yr Here is the product specs on the laptop: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/documen...cname=c00612125 Brand new, paid $400 for the laptop and also an addtional amount for a 3-year warranty.
August 31, 200619 yr I think so. It amazes me how much the price of a good laptop has gone down. I bought the one I'm on now back in 03 and bet it is alot less now.
August 31, 200619 yr I can't believe that is only $400. I also can't believe that a duo core is only 1.66 MHz.

August 31, 200619 yr Sounds like a great deal. I've stopped taking out extended warranties a long time ago, and IIRC, I've probably saved a couple thousand dollars and haven't had a consumer electronics item that failed where the extended warranty would have helped. Laptops would be the one exception I can think of. http://www.consumerreports.org/cro/persona...ranty/index.htm
