Tim Redding

Featured Replies

Triple-A Charlotte's Tim Redding threw a shutout and struck out 12 Wednesday in a win over Toledo.

Redding has allowed just one run and fanned 32 in his last 25 innings of work. It might not earn him a callup after the Knights' season is at an end, but he'll be a lot more popular as a minor league free agent. His performance might even earn him a major league deal this winter.

Umm...that's solid. This guy might have gotten his stuff together in time for KW to make an easier decision on next season's rotation. No, I don't think he will start for us next year, but it's good to know if he continues like this, he's a backup plan if Javy is shown the door.

I thought he was a dark horse for the pen before this season. He's still likely gone after this year.

Im still glad he had the season he had in AAA maybe gives him a chance to revive his majorleague career. Not 2 mention it was great having a veteran on your AAA starting pitching staff showing the young guys the ropes and professionalism etc...

lol

I just hate it when people don't even research what they are talking about. People don't realize how good Vazquez has been since the start of August. He's lost 5 straight starts, all of which were very winnable games.
