September 15, 200619 yr Nice article. Kass riding the Mariotti coat tail for a few readers. The only thing better to a columnist in Chicago than being Mariotti is quoting Mariotti.
September 15, 200619 yr QUOTE(Texsox @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 07:47 AM) Nice article. Kass riding the Mariotti coat tail for a few readers. The only thing better to a columnist in Chicago than being Mariotti is quoting Mariotti. John Kass doesn't need Mariotti. He's quite popular on his own.
September 15, 200619 yr QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:24 AM) Wasn't Kass the guy that wrote the Mariotti windsock column? I believe that was Morrisey, but I am not sure. I know it wasn't Kass, it was a sports writer.
September 15, 200619 yr It shocking how unpopular Mariotti is among other writers.... Pretty much everyone, even Telander with his own paper, has taken a shot at him in the last year. Its very tellling. I refuse to read Mariotti, but I gladly read articles by others taking shots at marriotti
September 15, 200619 yr QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 10:32 AM) I believe that was Morrisey, but I am not sure. I know it wasn't Kass, it was a sports writer. I'm pretty sure it was Eric Zorn. Beautiful article, that one was.
September 15, 200619 yr QUOTE(The Critic @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 12:25 PM) I'm pretty sure it was Eric Zorn. Beautiful article, that one was. Zorn it is!
September 15, 200619 yr I love that Zorn article because it completely negates Mariotti as a valid writer. Edited September 15, 200619 yr by PlunketChris
September 15, 200619 yr QUOTE(PlunketChris @ Sep 15, 2006 -> 01:25 PM) I love that Zorn article because it completely negates Mariotti as a valid writer. And yet he is still writing and he is still on ESPN. What he needs is a change of scenery. Like to northern Idaho.
