Guess Hoyer's campaign of leaking against Murtha worked. Dah well, didn't like either of them, and it's Nancy's job to find a way to keep them all in line.

I don't know who was feeding Murtha information that he was winning, but he got beat pretty soundly by Hoyer for the #2 job, 149-86.

Karl Rove said the Republicans would win based on their ground game until the very end. It's a pretty standard campaign tactic...never admit you're losing.
